Elizabeth Fein is the founder of with elizabeth fein, a marketing site to help creative entrepreneurs successfully chart their course through the sometimes choppy waters of digital marketing. Life and business can be messy. They are often intertwined and Elizabeth believes that marketing can be really challenging for people based on this. Our own insecurities and shortcomings effect our confidence in our marketing capabilities, but the truth is we know so much more than we think we do. And if you feel stupid or think marketing is stupid I got you covered and am ready to help you become less stupid.
A little about Elizabeth Fein
After receiving my degree from the University of California, Berkeley, my marketing career started at Stanford conducting marketing research and creating social media content. I know that digital marketing has a surface layer and that it has a very complicated inner layer. I know what to look for to really know if your digital marketing is working for your business.
My marketing and social media expertise mean I can translate what’s going on behind the scenes and underneath and then help you apply it to your business. That’s where strategy meets creativity.
Why do I get it, like, really get it?
Because I’m doing this everyday. I’m creating content and experimenting on the platforms, deciding what works best for my business, adapting, iterating and trying again. I am also a marketing manager for a small business who is a leader in their industry and competing with companies twice their size.
I left academia to pursue supporting and coaching like-minded small business owners as well as working as a marketing manager for a rapidly growing company in the San Francisco. Beyond my work, I’m unapologetically an introvert and a photographer building a life with my two daughters, husband and pup in the Bay Area. I’m passionate and personally invested in making social media/marketing work for creative entrepreneurs.
Less Stupid Marketing with (me) is about seeing the big picture and not getting caught up in lofty social media goals that mean nothing. This is about stepping back, looking at your business goals, and talking about why your marketing content isn't aligned with them. It's about giving you information that is actually going to help you have more focus, less time on the computer, and better results. It's also about allowing you to step back and have a life/business that you love.
